The Store Manager role at CHEF'STORE® is pivotal to the success of the retail operation. This position requires an individual who is capable of managing store operations comprehensively, including financial performance, inventory control, customer service, staffing, and marketing initiatives. As the primary contact for Cash and Carry customers, the Store Manager embodies a customer-first mindset, leading by example and fostering a culture of excellence within the store. This role involves responsibility for the store's Profit and Loss (P&L) performance, executing the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), managing expenses, merchandising products effectively, and driving sales growth.
In addition to operational oversight, the Store Manager plays an essential leadership role in recruiting, training, and developing store employees to ensure high performance and customer satisfaction. The manager implements loss prevention measures, maintains a safe and welcoming store environment, and actively supports both in-store service and outside sales calls. The role also includes enforcing company policies, directing daily staff activities, managing schedules, and overseeing marketing program execution. The Store Manager's leadership contributes directly to the store's profitability, staff retention, and the overall brand experience.
This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $65,000 to $100,000 annually, depending on experience, education, skills, and location, along with an attractive annual incentive plan bonus. The role demands an individual with strong organizational and planning skills, excellent leadership and communication abilities, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. A flexible schedule is required, including potential availability for early mornings, late evenings, holidays, and weekends.
