The role of a Dishwasher at Azul Hospitality plays a vital part in supporting the food and beverage operations within the resort. This position is crucial in ensuring that all kitchen and dining equipment, including pots, pans, silverware, glassware, and china, are thoroughly cleaned, sanitized, and stored in a clean and orderly manner. The dishwasher handles multiple responsibilities concerning cleanliness and sanitation and works closely with the kitchen and service teams to maintain the high cleanliness standards required in a luxury hospitality setting. The Dishwasher is responsible for operating commercial dishwashing machinery and maintaining a hygienic work area compliant with hygiene regulations and the company’s standards. The role includes preparing outlets for opening shifts by ensuring adequate supplies of necessary items and appropriate handling of dirty dishes and kitchenware. Additionally, the dishwasher participates in routine and deep cleaning tasks to maintain kitchen and food preparation areas like ovens, grills, stoves, hoods, fryers, preparation tables, and floors, all critical to the safe preparation of food. Physical endurance and attention to detail are essential for success in this role, as it involves working in different temperature environments, from freezers to hot kitchens, and managing heavy equipment and materials. Safety practices, such as promptly addressing spills, breakages, and hazards, are mandatory to create a safe work environment for the entire team.
