The Sous Chef will work primarily in the evenings and on weekends, supporting high-quality food production and managing kitchen operations effectively. The Sous Chef serves as an integral player in leading, mentoring, and collaborating with the team of chefs and kitchen staff to deliver exceptional dining experiences. The individual in this role will be responsible for upholding the highest standards of food safety, quality, and presentation, while also actively participating in menu development with creative input reflecting both contemporary and Minnesota-inspired cuisine.   • Completion of a Culinary or Apprenticeship Program preferred
  • At least 4 years of cooking experience in a hotel preferred
  • At least 4 years of experience in a similar role with a similar operation size
  • Managers' Food Handlers Certification required
  • Alcohol Beverage Servers Certification preferred
  • OSHA certification or equivalent knowledge of OSHA regulations
  • Basic math skills for financial reporting
