Maria and Enzo's Ristorante, part of Delaware North's Patina Group, is seeking a skilled Sous Chef to join their culinary team in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. This is a full-time position with an anticipated salary range of $56,900 to $76,800 per year, coupled with an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or an uncapped sales incentive plan. The Sous Chef role is integral to supporting the Executive Chef in managing high-volume kitchen operations while maintaining exceptional food quality and consistency. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and developing the culinary team, ensuring adherence to recipe standards, and maintaining a safe and sanitary kitchen environment.
The Sous Chef will also play a pivotal role in cost management, inventory control, scheduling, and collaborating on menu design and recipe development. This position requires strong leadership skills, culinary creativity, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with flexible scheduling, including days, evenings, holidays, and weekends. - Minimum of 2 years of culinary management experience in a la carte restaurant
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Proficient computer skills including Word and Excel
- Ability to obtain ServSafe Food Safety Handler and Training for Intervention Procedures certifications
- Knowledge of food safety sanitation and inventory control
- Willingness to work flexible hours including days evenings holidays weekends and 10-hour shifts
