The Sales Associate role at Dollar General is an essential position within the company's store team, making a direct impact on customer satisfaction and store success. This part-time role requires a highly dedicated and customer-focused individual who functions as a primary point of contact for customers, assisting them effectively throughout their shopping experience. The Sales Associate is responsible for a range of tasks designed to maximize store profitability and maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized store environment. Key responsibilities include greeting customers and providing exceptional customer service, operating cash registers and scanners to process purchases accurately and efficiently, stocking, replenishing, and organizing merchandise on the sales floor, and maintaining overall store cleanliness including tasks such as trash removal, dusting, mopping, and restroom cleaning. - High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to provide excellent customer service
- Ability to operate cash register and handle cash transactions

- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and occasionally climb using a step ladder up to six feet
