The role of an Airside Experience Specialist at Signature Aviation is critical in maintaining the high standards of service and operational efficiency for which the company is known. This position is the face of the private aviation terminal, responsible for providing a seamless, personalized, and welcoming experience to every guest, crew member, and aircraft. The Specialist combines exceptional hospitality skills with hands-on operational support, ensuring guests feel valued from the moment their aircraft arrives until departure. This role demands a service-first mindset, professionalism, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced, luxury-driven environment.
Airside Experience Specialists perform a variety of operational tasks including operating ground service equipment such as fuel trucks, de-icing trucks, ground power units, and tugs. They collaborate closely with team members, vendors, and aircraft crews to deliver a full range of services that include fueling, de-icing, lavatory servicing, ground power, potable water delivery, parking, marshalling, and towing. The position requires physical stamina and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, as well as schedule flexibility to cover nights, weekends, and holidays.
Safety and security are paramount in this role. Specialists proactively identify and address safety concerns, enforce security protocols, and follow emergency response procedures during critical events. They maintain accurate records related to their activities and services, and uphold all operational standards set by Signature Aviation and airport authorities. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, able to interpret technical safety and operational instructions, and committed to delivering an exceptional guest experience with a courteous and positive demeanor.

- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- minimum of 18 years of age
- ability to pass company background checks (criminal and motor vehicle)
- drug tests
- meet airport background check requirements to receive and maintain an airport security badge
- be insurable by the Company's applicable insurance policies
- legally authorized to work in the jurisdiction of employment
- excellent vision and coordination to move and/or direct aircraft and visually inspect aircraft fuel
- ability to pass a color vision test for purposes of inspecting aviation fuel
- must possess a valid state driver’s license
- in some locations a commercial driver’s license (CDL) is required as dictated by local regulations and business needs
- must be able to exercise good judgment and follow directions/directives from supervisor/management
- preferred three (3) to six (6) months experience and/or training in aviation, customer service or other related field
- or equivalent combination of education and experience and/or training.
