The Server (Dining Room Care Manager) role at Sunrise Senior Living is essential for maintaining a high standard of dining services within the community's dining rooms and designated areas. This position demands not only serving meals but also acting as a role model and trainer for new care managers, ensuring dining areas remain clean, organized, and welcoming. The Server is responsible for providing courteous and attentive service while adhering to Sunrise's hospitality standards and all relevant food safety regulations. The role's responsibilities include assisting residents with menu selections, managing meal and beverage orders, and supporting smooth dining room operations by performing checklist inspections and upkeep duties. Additionally, the Server helps maintain tabletop inventories and contributes to special events, demonstrating teamwork and a commitment to risk management and general safety practices.   • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum of one year experience preferred in fine dining hospitality and/or full-service senior living
  • Must obtain Food Safety Certification within 90 days of position start
  • Maintain CPR and First Aid certifications as required
  • Maintain ServeSafe certification as required
  • Ability to comply with all food handling and safety regulations
  • Must participate in required training and maintain compliance
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of resident information
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Compliance with occupational health and safety standards including PPE and other safety protocols
  • Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and tasks
  • Must pass drug test and complete health screenings as conditions of employment
