The role of Server / Waiter / Waitress at Fogo de Chao is essential in creating memorable dining experiences for guests. Servers are responsible for welcoming guests with a smile, ensuring comfort by attending to seating and napkin placement, and presenting menus with the readiness to explain dishes and preparation methods. This position requires excellent communication skills to answer guest questions about the continuous tableside serving concept unique to the Churrasco dining experience. Servers must skilfully take and serve beverage and dessert orders, coordinate special requests with the meat specialists called Churrasqueiros, and efficiently handle payment processing with cashiers. The role is dynamic and fast-paced, involving collaboration with fellow servers to maintain smooth service flow and assisting with opening and closing duties.
