The role of Server 1 at Invited is crucial in delivering exceptional food and beverage services to club members and guests. This position requires a dedicated individual who consistently applies Invited's renowned three-step service approach: offering warm welcomes, creating magic moments, and bidding fond farewells. Server 1 works closely with the restaurant, banquet, or food and beverage management teams to uphold superior service standards and create a seamless dining experience.
This role is non-leadership but vital in supporting overall dining operations. It involves maintaining a thorough knowledge of the à la carte menu, including daily specials, to provide knowledgeable recommendations and personalized service to members. The Server 1 ensures interactions with members feel warm and welcoming by greeting them by name and anticipating their needs.
Day-to-day duties include executing food and beverage orders promptly, assisting teammates to maintain operational flow, addressing guest concerns with professionalism and service recovery techniques, and maintaining cleanliness and organization in service areas. Beyond routine responsibilities, Server 1 may be called upon to assist with additional tasks that enhance the overall club environment, reflecting the flexible and dynamic nature of the hospitality industry.

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in food and beverage service
- Current Food Handler and Alcohol Server certifications as required by state and city regulations
- Completion of Invited’s food and beverage service training program
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical activities for extended periods
- Ability to work in varying temperatures and environments
- Capable of climbing ladders, squatting, kneeling, reaching, grasping, twisting, bending, and folding or unfolding as required
- Able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 100 lbs occasionally
- Effective communication skills, including talking and hearing, with sufficient visual acuity
