Sanford Health is currently seeking Housekeepers, Janitors, and Custodians to join its fast-paced hospital environment. This role involves working 40 hours per week, primarily during evening shifts from 5:00 PM to 1:30 AM, Monday through Friday with every other weekend. These positions are vital to maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable atmosphere for patients, staff, and visitors. The Environmental Service Technician will work closely with the environmental services leadership team to support daily operations, ensuring staff are equipped with the necessary tools and supplies, responding to service requests promptly, assisting with training programs, performing minor equipment maintenance, covering for absent staff, and contributing to quality assurance inspections and project work. The position demands a strong commitment to maintaining facilities in accordance with local, state, federal, and facility standards. This includes adhering to strict cleaning protocols required in healthcare settings, such as access to medication storage areas and potential use of internal software applications for task management. The job also requires ongoing training to maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices and regulatory requirements.
