Maersk Ground Freight (MGF), a key division within the company, provides a wide range of transportation services that include Full Truckload (FTL), Less Than Truckload (LTL), brokerage, cross-border trucking, groupage, and sortation hubs. Its extensive network integrates Maersk and customer warehouses, depots, cross-dock facilities, and consolidation and deconsolidation centers. The available Finance position at Maersk is a full-time role with a hybrid working schedule, allowing employees to work from home two days per week. The role focuses on monitoring and managing the financial activities of multiple facilities within Maersk's network. Key responsibilities include preparing and analyzing financial reports, performing general ledger analysis, and ensuring compliance with internal financial controls. The person in this role will collaborate closely with operations teams, controllers, and financial business partners to guarantee that all financial data is accurately reported and reconciled against actual business operations.
This role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in financial processes such as journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, revenue and expense accruals, and internal audit support. It demands proactive communication skills and the capacity to deliver timely and precise financial reports to senior management. Compensation for this role ranges from $75,000 to $80,000 annually, with the final salary dependent on market conditions and candidate qualifications.
