The Custodian role at Diverse Facility Solutions is a full-time, day-shift position located in SeaTac, Seattle, WA, offering a salary of $20.76 per hour. This position is central to upholding the health, safety, and sanitation standards of the buildings under the company’s care. Custodians are responsible for a variety of cleaning and minor maintenance tasks, ensuring that all areas remain clean, organized, and functional. The role requires a willingness to learn and master proper cleaning techniques, the ability to handle multiple locations, and the physical endurance to perform duties that involve walking, bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods. As a Custodian, the individual will be tasked with collecting trash, replacing garbage liners, cleaning and disinfecting restrooms, dusting furniture and fixtures, vacuuming carpets, mopping floors, and maintaining janitorial equipment. Additionally, the role demands meticulous attention to detail in the use and labeling of cleaning chemicals and adherence to safety standards, including the proper use of personal protective equipment. Custodians also perform minor facility repairs or report damages promptly to maintain a safe environment. This role reports directly to the Lead Custodian and Custodial Supervisor and plays a critical part in ensuring that the facilities are maintained to the highest standards.
