In this role, you will lead by example, interviewing, selecting, training, coaching, and scheduling associates to guarantee they perform according to established HHM and brand standards. Your leadership will be instrumental in fostering a motivated and skilled sales team aligned with HHM's core values. Additionally, you will maximize hotel revenue by selling a broad range of hotel services to previous, current, and potential clients. Your sales acumen, along with professional negotiation skills, will ensure mutually beneficial agreements that satisfy both internal stakeholders and customers. You will be responsible for coordinating with various hotel departments to ensure seamless service delivery for key accounts. Conducting persuasive sales presentations and articulating the unique benefits of HHM properties will be central to your daily activities. The role also involves local travel to conduct outside sales calls, promote hotel offerings, engage in market analysis, and represent the hotel at trade shows. Adherence to HHM's EarthView sustainability program is expected, reflecting the company’s commitment to responsible business practices. Candidates for this position should have an Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality or a related field, with proven experience in sales and preferably a background in hospitality sales. The successful Sales Manager will thrive in a variable work schedule, including availability on holidays and weekends, and possess the physical ability to perform tasks such as sitting for extended periods, lifting up to 10 pounds, and frequently using hands and fingers for keyboard operations. Moderate travel is required between the hotel and client locations.
