Sales Associates play a key role in maintaining the store’s presentation, merchandising products effectively, and ensuring accuracy in sales transactions and cash handling. Beyond transactional duties, this role encourages leadership by example among team members, especially in maintaining work accuracy and store standards. This role requires engaging with customers positively, promoting the company’s rewards program, and remaining aware of ongoing sales promotions to maximize sales opportunities. Sales Associates are responsible for creating an inviting shopping environment through well-organized merchandise displays and maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the sales floor. The position also involves developing and maintaining product knowledge and fitting skills to assist customers effectively. Additionally, this job includes participation in physical inventory counts, shipment processing, and proper merchandise placement to support inventory management.
