The role of Safety Manager at HazTek, based in Charlotte, NC, is a critical position designed to support specific construction projects by implementing best practices and ensuring compliance with safety regulations including OSHA standards. This full-time position offers a competitive salary range from $95,000 to $120,000. As a Safety Manager, the individual will be responsible for overseeing all safety aspects of commercial construction projects. This includes conducting daily safety meetings, completing accident reports, and leading accident investigations when necessary. The role demands conducting daily safety audits and inspections, and supervising not only the internal team but also all subcontractors and contractors involved in the projects. Specific areas of oversight include fall protection, scaffolding, steel erection, and excavation activities, ensuring these high-risk areas maintain utmost safety and regulatory compliance. The Safety Manager is expected to bring a wealth of expertise with a minimum of 7 years of direct construction safety experience. This role requires advanced knowledge of construction safety standards and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools to manage documentation and communication effectively.
