Safety Advisor (San Francisco, CA) - $45 to $50 per HOUR

This job opportunity is for a Safety Advisor position based in San Francisco, CA with a contract duration of 1 to 2 years. The Safety Advisor will primarily provide oversight on an EM 385 construction project, which involves working directly on-site to ensure compliance with strict safety protocols, including federal, state, local, and owner-mandated safety requirements. The role is critical in maintaining a safe workplace by identifying potential safety hazards and implementing corrective actions. This position demands a professional who is skilled at evaluating safety conditions, communicating clearly with diverse teams, and championing safety program adherence throughout the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate will bring more than five years of experience in construction safety, with a preference for those who are well-versed in EM 385 standards. Exceptional communication skills both verbally and in writing are essential, allowing the Safety Advisor to articulate safety policies and issues to personnel at all organizational levels. Strong organizational abilities and the capability to independently prioritize tasks amid dynamic and safety-sensitive environments will be vital to success in this role. This position also has specific physical demands that include frequent standing, walking, climbing, and the ability to lift items weighing between 25 and 75 pounds.
