As a Room Attendant, your primary responsibility will be to clean and maintain guest rooms to meet established standards efficiently and effectively. This includes performing tasks such as sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming floors; changing bed linens and replenishing towels and amenities; and cleaning and polishing furniture and fixtures. You will also be tasked with dusting surfaces, notifying management of repair needs, and handling guest items left behind following the hotel's lost and found policies. In addition to these housekeeping duties, you will be expected to greet guests warmly whenever an interaction occurs, contributing positively to their overall stay experience. The role also demands flexibility, as you may need to perform house person and lobby attendant duties during peak times or staffing shortages. Emphasizing safety, you will follow proper work habits including the use of protective equipment and adherence to OSHA standards. Guest satisfaction is at the heart of this position. You will be aware of satisfaction scores and actively work to enhance departmental and overall guest ratings, ensuring that each guest enjoys a comfortable and clean environment.
