Loews Coronado Bay Resort is currently seeking a dedicated professional for the role of Restaurant Supervisor. This position involves supervising restaurant activities in the absence of the Manager to ensure smooth and efficient service operations. The Restaurant Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the restaurant's daily function, focusing on providing outstanding customer service, managing reservations, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and orderliness. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
In this role, the Restaurant Supervisor will control the Reservation Book, accurately accepting and recording reservations, and maintaining detailed guest history files to enhance repeat guest experiences. The supervisor assigns work stations, pre-meal and post-meal side work duties to the team, and inspects the dining room and service areas to guarantee all tasks are completed prior to service periods. Greeting guests in a polished and professional manner while determining their seating needs forms an essential part of this role. The supervisor guides guests to their tables, assists with seating arrangements, presents menus, and ensures the dining areas remain orderly and free of unnecessary place settings.
Monitoring dining room activity, assisting servers and assistants as necessary, and maintaining constant communication regarding guest needs and special requests are key responsibilities. The Restaurant Supervisor holds a pivotal role in ensuring that the guest experience meets or exceeds expectations by maintaining cleanliness, inspecting menus for acceptability, and responding promptly to issues affecting service. Additional duties include promoting teamwork, enforcing safety regulations, attending meetings and training, and upholding hotel policies and appearance standards. This is a full-time position offering a wage of $26.15 per hour, ideal for individuals who are passionate about hospitality and eager to contribute to an esteemed resort environment.

 - previous experience in restaurant supervision or management
