The Bartender position at the Space Needle is a pivotal role focused on delivering exceptional food and beverage service to create a memorable guest experience. The ideal candidate will exhibit an in-depth understanding of classic and contemporary cocktails, possess expert-level mixology skills, and maintain comprehensive knowledge of the food and beverage offerings. As a bartender, you will follow specific service standards and timing guidelines, ensuring each guest receives personalized attention that exceeds expectations. Responsibilities include crafting unique and custom cocktails based on guest preferences, preparing garnishes and syrups, operating mobile bars efficiently, and maintaining an organized and clean work area throughout shifts. • Must have extensive knowledge of food and beverage including wine and food pairing and suggestive selling techniques
• must have excellent grooming and communication skills
• must be able to organize and prioritize multiple tasks
• must have a valid Washington State Class 12 or Class 13 Alcohol Service Permit
• must have a valid Washington State Food Handler's Permit
• ability to work well in a team-based environment

• able to walk, stand, reach, and lift 30 to 50 lbs during entire shift
• must be able to lift 35-50 lbs over one shoulder using a large serving tray
• available for typical shifts of approximately 8 hours
