The Bartender position at the Space Needle is a pivotal role focused on delivering exceptional food and beverage service to create a memorable guest experience. The ideal candidate will exhibit an in-depth understanding of classic and contemporary cocktails, possess expert-level mixology skills, and maintain comprehensive knowledge of the food and beverage offerings. As a bartender, you will follow specific service standards and timing guidelines, ensuring each guest receives personalized attention that exceeds expectations. Responsibilities include crafting unique and custom cocktails based on guest preferences, preparing garnishes and syrups, operating mobile bars efficiently, and maintaining an organized and clean work area throughout shifts. The role demands a proactive approach in service recovery, teamwork, and maintaining high grooming and conduct standards, all while delivering professional and courteous interactions with guests and team members alike. The Space Needle bartending team is expected to stay informed on industry trends and competitive offerings locally and nationally. - Must have extensive knowledge of food and beverage including wine and food pairing and suggestive selling techniques
