This role is a full-time, regular position that provides vital support for staff-led and contracted programs. The Recreation Services Coordinator 1 is responsible for coordinating a variety of community programs by negotiating partner contracts, developing comprehensive program schedules, and monitoring enrollment trends to ensure vibrant and responsive program offerings. Collaborating with a diverse team of staff and contractors, the coordinator offers guidance and oversight to deliver seamless operations and high-quality services. The role demands strong organizational, interpersonal, and analytical skills to evaluate community needs and program effectiveness. The Recreation Services Coordinator 1 will operate under the general supervision of a Recreation Services Manager. Responsibilities include planning, coordinating, and leading programs, services, and facilities in assigned areas while ensuring safety and operational readiness of facilities. The role also involves budget oversight, contract administration, recruitment and training of staff and volunteers, and active participation in community partnerships and commissions.
