The Recreation Leader - Community Events position within the Department of Parks and Recreation offers an exciting opportunity for professionals who enjoy organizing and leading large-scale community and athletic events. Additionally, the Recreation Leader is responsible for the supervision and safety of key recreational facilities including Kids' Space Playground and Get-A-Way Skatepark, applying tact and interpersonal skills to maintain order and provide high-quality customer service. This role demands flexibility, with the requirement to work nights and weekends, reflecting the event schedules and community needs.
