The Receptionist role at Univar Solutions serves as a vital point of contact for the facility. This full-time position, located in Webster, TX, operates on a hybrid work schedule and involves front desk coordination and a variety of administrative and facilities support tasks. The receptionist is responsible for creating a welcoming environment for visitors, including customers, vendors, and employees, enhancing the overall experience at the facility. Key duties include welcoming and signing in visitors, managing deliveries and outgoing packages, scheduling meetings, and validating parking. The role also entails activating and deactivating security badges for employees across multiple sites, maintaining office and breakroom supplies, handling work orders with building maintenance and external vendors, processing mail, and assisting with onboarding new employees by managing access badges, parking, and desk setup. This position provides general direction to the cleaning crew and collaborates daily with employees at all company levels to ensure smooth operations of the department and facility. Candidates must be prepared to work in a fast-paced environment where discretion, confidentiality, and excellent communication are essential.
