The Catering Service Worker Lead at Aramark plays a vital supervisory role in managing catering events across central and satellite locations. This role ensures that all Aramark catering brand standards and operational initiatives are consistently achieved and upheld. The position involves direct oversight of catering operations, including coordinating staff, managing rental equipment, and handling the set-up, preparation, service, and breakdown of catered foods and beverages. The Catering Service Worker Lead is responsible for ensuring a strong safety culture where the work environment is injury-free. Additionally, they handle key administrative tasks such as booking events, selecting and costing menu items, and pricing as needed. This leadership role requires collaboration with internal departments, vendor interfaces, and participation in management team meetings, representing both Aramark and client interests at meetings and events. Ensuring compliance with sanitation, organization, and safety standards is a core part of the job, supported by routine use of checklists and hands-on supervision. Furthermore, this role involves active participation in various catering training programs and supporting the development and implementation of training for hourly, part-time, and student employees. The Catering Service Worker Lead must also uphold and implement Aramark's OpX Catering initiatives and guidelines effectively. Aramark values adaptability, as job duties may evolve to meet organizational needs and commitments. The role may include physical demands such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of walking and standing. • Minimum of two years operational experience in a hotel/banquet setting
• prior experience with booking of events preferred
