Springboard Hospitality is seeking a meticulous and dedicated Public Area Attendant to join the team at its Luana Waikiki location in Honolulu, HI. This full-time position offers an hourly wage of $23.34 and plays a critical role in ensuring the cleanliness, safety, and aesthetic appeal of all corridors and public areas within the hotel. Reporting directly to the Director of Housekeeping or Housekeeping Manager, the Public Area Attendant will support the housekeeping team in maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and presentation, contributing directly to guest satisfaction and the overall hospitality experience.
The successful candidate for this role will be responsible for a variety of duties that include thorough cleaning of hallways, elevators, stairwells, and service areas. Additional responsibilities involve the removal of soiled linens and trash, assisting room attendants when needed, and promptly reporting any maintenance or security issues. The role demands physical stamina and the ability to lift and move weights up to 50 pounds, as well as the capacity to stand, walk, and perform rigorous cleaning tasks throughout the entire shift. This position requires effective communication skills to interact courteously with guests, management, and fellow staff members, as well as a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
