Join the Southwest Airlines 'Below the Wing' team as a Ramp Agent in Phoenix (PHX). We are seeking reliable, safety-conscious, and physically active individuals to handle the fast-paced demands of our ground operations. This is a vital, non-customer-facing role. Core Responsibilities: This is a physically demanding role in an outdoor environment. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient processing of baggage and cargo, including loading and unloading from aircraft. You will operate ground equipment (tugs, belt loaders), guide aircraft on the ramp (marshalling), and ensure on-time departures. All operations must comply with TSA and company safety regulations. Qualifications & Requirements: 1+ year in logistics, warehouse, or manual labor is preferred. Must be at least 18 years old, have a valid US driver's license, and be legally authorized to work in the US. Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs (32 kg) repeatedly and work in all weather conditions. Work Schedule: This position requires full availability for shift work, as our operations run 24/7. You must be available to work the 'night shift' (overnight) and 'weekend shift' as these are critical times for our operation. Overtime is common. Compensation & Benefits: This role offers a competitive hourly wage, estimated between $19.00 - $27.00 per hour. Benefits include medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), paid training, profit sharing, and airline travel privileges.
