The Public Area Attendant position at Seneca Gaming Corporation plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of the casino and hotel public areas. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who is dedicated to preserving a pristine and inviting environment consistent with Seneca Gaming Corporation's standards. The attendant is responsible for cleaning both front and back of house areas, including all in-house public facilities, gaming devices, bathrooms, and general spaces within the casino and hotel lobby. The role demands consistent adherence to corporation policies, internal controls, and security standards. Duties include routine cleaning tasks such as emptying ashtrays, disinfecting floors and restrooms, and disposing of waste throughout the casino on a regular basis. The attendant will also stock cleaning supplies and ensure areas remain well-maintained throughout operating hours. This position is integral to providing a 4 Diamond level customer service experience by interacting with guests and staff in a courteous, professional, and friendly manner at all times. This full-time position follows a 24-hour schedule, reflecting the continuous need for maintaining cleanliness throughout the casino and hotel premises. The role requires physical stamina and the ability to work efficiently in a sometimes loud, fast-paced, and smoke-permitted casino environment. Starting salary is $15.50 per hour, with compensation negotiable based on experience and education. All attendants must complete required Seneca Gaming Corporation training programs within nine months of employment and attend scheduled meetings to stay informed on relevant policies.
