The Production Control Coordinator will play an essential part in supporting daily production activities by accurately managing the airline orders, entering data into company databases, and ensuring timely communication of critical information to diverse operational teams. This position requires a detail-oriented and proactive individual capable of juggling multiple tasks in a high-pressure environment while maintaining precision and accuracy. Specifically, the Production Control Coordinator coordinates and participates in daily face-to-face meetings to facilitate communication and workflow between departments. Responsibilities include manually adding flights and meal service codes to the database system known as CBase, auditing and sorting flight meal reports, and ensuring compliance with airline policies and procedures. The role demands close interaction with various departments through email, phone, and two-way radios to relay up-to-date flight and meal information critical to smooth operational execution. The position also involves monitoring key operational standards such as the proper setup of workstations at shift start, adherence to Gold Standards, inventory rotation following FIFO (First In First Out) protocols, and compliance with equipment and uniform standards. Organizing and maintaining production paperwork and assisting in implementing LEAN processes to enhance productivity and quality are also part of the job scope. Furthermore, this role is responsible for verifying operational data, ensuring regulatory compliance with agencies like FDA, USDA, OSHA, EPA, DOT, and HACCP, and maintaining essential departmental logs.
