The Private Events Manager role at Boeing Center at Tech Port is a vital position within the venue’s sales department, reporting directly to the Director of Sales. This is a full-time, exempt status role focused on generating revenue by driving the sale of private and special events hosted at this premier facility. The Private Events Manager will be entrusted with independently leading sales initiatives targeting a broad range of event types, including weddings, proms, holiday parties, Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, fundraising galas, association meetings, and corporate functions. These responsibilities are central to maximizing venue utilization and cultivating strong, lasting client relationships through delivering exceptional event experiences. This role demands strategic thinking, proactive client prospecting, and expert management of the sales pipeline. The Private Events Manager will be expected to utilize advanced market research tools such as ZoomInfo and other online databases to identify potential clients, maintain and monitor all sales activities, and prepare detailed rental proposals aligned with the venue’s established rate structures. The position also involves conducting client site tours, drafting tailored event proposals and contracts, and actively representing the venue at industry trade shows and community events. Collaboration is an important element of this position, as the Private Events Manager will work closely with Legends Global’s marketing and PR teams to promote departmental events and contribute to the continuous improvement of event profitability and service quality. The role requires a polished and professional demeanor, strong knowledge of hospitality industry trends, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to multitask in a high-paced environment.   • Bachelors' degree or equivalent experience in marketing, communications, sales, or related field
