We are currently seeking a Premium Bartender to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is vital in ensuring consistent, high-quality beverage service that meets both our company’s standards and our guests’ expectations.
The Premium Bartender position involves the service of all beverages, including both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Candidates must be personable, professional, and able to adapt to ever-changing, high-volume environments. They should demonstrate excellent attendance and availability to work events as scheduled according to business needs. This position offers an hourly wage ranging from $17.00 to $21.00 and is eligible for tips, providing a competitive total compensation package.
In this role, the bartender will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest service, interacting positively with coworkers, and adhering to uniform standards. They will follow bar pre-shift notes and menus accurately to ensure the proper preparation and presentation of beverages. Compliance with all federal and state regulations concerning the service and distribution of alcoholic beverages is mandatory. The bartender must be knowledgeable or willing to learn about various beer, wine, and spirits varieties and be adept at suggestive selling to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
Bartenders are expected to pour drinks responsibly and monitor guests' ages by checking identification in accordance with legal requirements. They must communicate drink cut-offs when necessary and handle any guest issues or concerns with professionalism and discretion. Bartenders should also be skilled at managing intoxicated guests by de-escalating potential conflicts and seeking assistance from management or security when needed.
Responsible cash handling and maintaining the assigned cash bank are crucial duties. The bartender will keep a clean and organized work station and ensure that all bar equipment is maintained in excellent condition. Other duties include restocking and organizing supplies, setting up and breaking down bar equipment, and assisting in cooler organization. The right candidate will be a team player, self-directed, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while contributing to a positive work environment.
This part-time role includes benefits such as a 401(k) Savings Plan with matching contributions.
