The Porter Technician position within the Janitorial Department at CSG is a full-time role that reports to the Operations Manager. The compensation for this role ranges from $24.00 to $26.00 per hour. This position plays a crucial role in supporting building maintenance and landscape efforts, contributing to the upkeep and enhancement of apartment community environments. The Porter Technician is responsible for general maintenance support including detailed cleaning and apartment turn tasks adhering to the company’s high standards and coordinated with management staff. The role involves working closely with the on-site team and external contractors to maintain optimal building quality and efficient operational workflows. Duties include thorough cleaning of assigned areas such as buildings, amenities, clubhouses, bathrooms, pool areas, and BBQ zones, incorporating activities like wiping, scrubbing, dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and trash removal. The position also requires conducting detailed apartment cleaning in preparation for resident move-ins and overseeing vendor work. Light maintenance tasks and the execution of safe work practices are integral to the role to ensure hazards like burnt-out lights, sprinkler issues, or water pools are addressed promptly. The role also includes delivering packages, notes, letters, and flyers to residents, all while fostering positive customer interactions to guarantee a high-quality residential experience. The position demands physical stamina and the ability to perform tasks involving sitting, standing, walking, squatting, climbing stairs and ladders, kneeling, overhead reaching, lifting, and carrying weights up to specified limits. Regularity, reliability, and clear communication skills, especially in English, are essential, with multilingual ability seen as an advantage.
