The Patina Group is currently hiring a full-time Porter to join their team at the Met Opera Grand Tier in New York, New York. This role offers an hourly wage of $20.65 and is integral to the smooth operation of the restaurant supply chain, ensuring that both front and back of house areas are stocked and maintained efficiently. The Porter will be responsible for receiving, inspecting, and storing deliveries, maintaining inventory records, and supporting other kitchen roles as needed. This dynamic position requires careful attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the physical ability to perform demanding tasks such as lifting heavy items and constant movement throughout the shift. As part of a team focused on excellence, the Porter contributes directly to the overall success of the restaurant's operations, working in a collaborative environment that values reliability and dedication.

                - One to three months of previous stock clerk or steward or related experience highly preferred
 - basic math skills with the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
 - must have strong attention to detail and record-keeping skills
 - constant standing and walking for the entire length of shift
 - frequently required to reach, pull, push, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
 - regularly lift or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds
