The Porter position at Carolina Sweepers is a full-time role paying $15.00 per hour, ideal for individuals who enjoy being active, working independently, and take pride in maintaining cleanliness and organization in their surroundings. This role involves outdoor work primarily at commercial and retail shopping centers, where the employee is tasked with various cleaning, maintenance, and labor duties. Porters will be responsible for picking up litter, cleaning and wiping down surfaces such as windowsills, trash can lids, and benches, as well as changing trash bags in outdoor receptacles. They are also expected to clean dumpster enclosures, break down boxes, move heavy pallets and furniture, and perform other general building maintenance tasks as needed. A company pickup truck will be provided for transportation to and from job sites. This role is well-suited for individuals who may have prior experience in landscaping, general labor, or janitorial work but also welcomes those starting their careers.
