This job posting is for the role of Server within one of Discovery Management Group’s senior living communities. As a Server, the individual will play a critical role in contributing to the quality of resident life by providing timely, courteous, and efficient meal service. The kitchen closes at 7 pm, ensuring shifts are well-defined and supportive of work-life balance. Candidates should be comfortable working every weekend, with a requirement to work every other weekend to meet operational needs. The Server role involves interacting closely with residents and guests, ensuring their satisfaction with meals, and maintaining a welcoming dining environment. The Server will take meal and drink orders, serve food promptly, and maintain knowledge of menu specials and food items to assist residents effectively. Maintaining cleanliness and organization of dining areas and side stations is also part of the daily responsibilities, alongside following safety and loss prevention protocols. Moreover, the position requires setting up and cleaning the dining room while adhering to or exceeding hospitality standards.
