We are currently seeking a Cruise/Port Agent to join our dynamic team. This role requires frequent travel between port and airport locations, where you will play a critical part in managing the flow of luggage with precision and care. The ideal candidate must possess strong customer service skills and the ability to meet strict delivery schedules. Your responsibilities will include sorting, tagging, and loading luggage into cages, sealing and loading them into delivery trucks, and safely driving the company truck across highways and local streets. Daily vehicle inspections and operating radio communication with dispatchers and supervisors are also integral parts of this position. Additionally, you will unload luggage from the cages at the destination and ensure all safety protocols are diligently followed.
This position requires someone who is physically fit as frequent lifting of up to 70 to 75 pounds is necessary, along with the ability to work in various weather conditions such as heat, cold, and rain. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential to interact effectively with both internal team members and customers. The Cruise/Port Agent will be expected to maintain a professional appearance at all times, adhering to company guidelines around grooming, dress, and hygiene. Compliance training, as well as obtaining the required airport, port, and TWIC badges, is mandatory to fulfill this role.
