As a Pizza Maker/Crew Member, you will be expected to engage with guests in a professional and courteous manner while performing opening, closing, shift changes, and any early-out duties as directed by your immediate supervisor. Wearing full uniform, arriving on time, and being ready to work at the designated workstation are essential aspects of this role. You will become proficient in working various counter stations within the scramble or station system to support the overall store operations seamlessly. Your duties will include directly assisting guests – from taking their orders to possibly helping with carrying their pizzas to their cars or holding doors open as a customer gesture. You must be able to give orders to guests within the six-minute "door to door" service standard, ensuring quick and efficient service that meets company expectations. Additionally, your responsibilities may cross into areas such as cashiering or preparation, thus requiring flexibility and adaptability. A strong emphasis is placed on following sanitation, food handling, and safety protocols rigorously to ensure compliance and customer satisfaction. You must be fully knowledgeable about proper guest check procedures, portion controls, and performance standards to make and wrap pizzas correctly. The role also demands that you keep your assigned work area clean, orderly, and fully stocked to maintain productivity during busy periods. You may be asked to perform supporting duties such as restocking supplies as a runner or handling dishwashing tasks, showing teamwork and cooperation within the store environment.
