The role of Receptionist at Heritage Oaks Hospital is a pivotal position that serves as the frontline of communication and hospitality within the hospital environment. This per diem role requires weekend evening availability from 3:15 PM to 8:45 PM. The Receptionist is tasked with welcoming and assisting all visitors in a manner that reflects the hospital’s guest relations program. Responsibilities include greeting visitors, ensuring they sign the visitor log and obtain a visitor pass, answering and professionally handling all incoming calls swiftly within three rings, and using the paging system to announce needed codes. Additionally, the Receptionist handles administrative duties such as maintaining the facility census book, tracking incoming deliveries, and supporting the admissions process by printing round sheets and labels for Admissions & Records and Nursing. Beyond these core functions, this role demands a courteous, efficient individual who can effectively manage multiple tasks while providing clerical assistance as required.
