The Passenger Service Agent acts as the face of Swissport for passengers and plays a critical role in ensuring smooth operations at the terminal and gate areas. The position also demands the ability to handle flight interruptions, reschedule affected passengers, manage boarding pass issuance, and facilitate navigation through Customs, Immigration, and Quarantine processes. This is a fast-paced role that requires excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish, alongside proficiency in airline-specific reservation and ticketing software. Swissport offers a competitive pay rate of 19.73 USD per hour for this position. Agents must be able to operate equipment such as jet ways and computer systems, while adhering strictly to all federal, state, municipal, airport authority, and carrier security requirements, as well as Swissport’s own standard operating procedures and policies.
