This position requires a detailed-oriented individual who manages passenger service dispatch duties, maintains aircraft status boards, receives air mission set-ups, and communicates vital information on passenger processing and movements to key personnel such as A/DACG Operations, Shift leaders, Troop Commanders, and Ground Liaison Personnel. Key responsibilities also include security checks of facilities to ensure integrity and functionality, monitoring inbound and outbound missions through systems like the Global Decision Support System (GDSS) and Single Mobility Systems (SMS), and assisting deploying units with air passenger manifesting to ensure accuracy and completeness of manifests. The specialist provides passengers with timely flight information and delay updates, thus playing a vital role in customer service and operational transparency. Additionally, the PAX Shed Specialist secures the physical safety of passengers within the Passenger Shelter, facilitating essential briefings such as the prohibited items briefing and anti-hijack inspections conducted by the Troop Commander. Coordination with Air Force personnel is paramount to confirm passenger identities and numbers, ensuring seamless processing and loading that aligns with deployment schedules. Upon mission completion, the specialist ensures all necessary paperwork is accurately filed and adheres to all assigned duties from leadership.
