The salary range for this position is anticipated to be between $70,000 and $80,000, with final offers depending on the candidate’s qualifications and experience. In addition to culinary oversight, the sous chef supervises staff compliance with sanitation, storage, and handling standards and oversees the ordering and stocking of all necessary supplies. Staying abreast of new trends and techniques in pastry arts is another core component of this role, supporting the continuous evolution of menu offerings. Importantly, the sous chef assumes leadership duties including hiring, payroll management, employee evaluations, and disciplinary actions in accordance with CIA policies.
