The role of an Airside Experience Specialist at Signature Aviation is pivotal in delivering a personalized and seamless experience to all guests, crew members, and aircraft utilizing the private aviation terminal. This position combines exceptional hospitality skills with operational expertise to ensure that every aspect of the guest’s journey is handled with care and professionalism from wheels down to wheels up. Airside Experience Specialists operate ground service equipment and provide aircraft ground services while maintaining a service-first mindset. This role requires flexibility to work varying shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays, and demands resilience to thrive in outdoor environments that involve exposure to active aircraft and changing weather conditions. This dynamic position involves collaborating closely with team members, clients, vendors, and aircraft crew to ensure that all service needs—such as fueling, de-icing, lavatory servicing, ground power, potable water, parking, marshalling, wing walking, catering delivery, and towing—are executed efficiently and safely. Airside Experience Specialists are responsible for multiple operational duties including loading and unloading luggage and cargo, providing courteous and safe transportation via shuttle vehicles, maintaining secure and clean ramp conditions, and enforcing all operational, safety, guest service, and security protocols. The role also involves documenting activities accurately and upholding company standards by promptly addressing any safety issues or security concerns. • high school diploma or general education degree (ged)
• minimum 18 years of age
• valid state driver’s license
• ability to pass company background checks (criminal and motor vehicle)
• ability to pass drug tests
• meet airport background check requirements to receive and maintain an airport security badge
• be insurable by company’s applicable insurance policies
• legally authorized to work in the jurisdiction of employment
• excellent vision and coordination
• ability to pass a color vision test
• exercise good judgment and follow directions from management
• preferred: three (3) to six (6) months experience or training in aviation, customer service or related field
