The Cargo Agent role at WFS is a vital position responsible for various operational duties that keep air cargo moving efficiently and compliantly. This position involves detailed computer data entry, preparation of all flight documents, and managing interfaces with U.S. Customs and other regulatory agencies. In addition, Cargo Agents handle import and export documentation, ensuring all cargo acceptance and distribution adhere to air carrier and Department of Transportation regulations. The role also requires generating customer lists for sales leads, soliciting orders, communicating with customers to finalize sales, and preparing sales contracts while providing accurate estimates on delivery schedules. Cargo Agents at WFS are expected to lift cargo weighing up to 70 pounds and comply with the company's site security protocols to maintain a secure working environment.
