This position is for a Pharmacy Technician at Sam's Club's pharmacy, located at 4835 Kietzke Ln, Reno, NV. The role is essential in supporting the pharmacy operations by processing member purchases, managing merchandise in the pharmacy area, and assisting in prescription fulfillment. The Pharmacy Technician is responsible for operating cash registers, handling various payment types with accuracy, and maintaining the presentation and organization of pharmacy merchandise. Responsibilities also include managing claims and returns, ensuring compliance with company policies, and supporting the pharmacist in prescription processing, including insurance claim handling and member assistance. The role requires entering prescription data accurately, filling prescriptions by measuring or counting medication, and ensuring all prescriptions are labeled and handled following legal and safety standards. The Pharmacy Technician provides excellent member service, assists with prescription pickups, and helps maintain a safe and compliant pharmacy environment. The candidate will collaborate with team members, manage workload efficiently, and uphold Sam's Club's values of integrity, respect, customer service, and striving for excellence. Sam's Club offers competitive hourly wages ranging from $20.00 to $24.00, subject to location and role-specific premiums. The position includes performance-based bonus awards and a comprehensive benefits package.
