The compensation ranges from $12.00 to $20.00 per hour, with opportunities for bonus pay where top earners can make $19 and more per hour. Paid training and weekly pay are provided, along with paid time off available after 90 days. The role of a Merry Maids team member is essential in maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include professionally cleaning customer homes using Merry Maids' unique cleaning products and procedures. Team members utilize provided equipment such as vacuums and microfiber cleaning cloths to clean various surfaces, including fans, blinds, light fixtures, baseboards, counters, showers, toilets, cabinets, and floors. The ability to clean floors on hands and knees in kitchens and bathrooms is required, as is vacuuming stairs, carpeted floors, hard surface floors, and furniture. Team members must also move reasonably moveable furniture to clean underneath and behind it. Additionally, carrying cleaning products and equipment to and from the office, vehicle, and customers' homes, assisting in maintaining stock supplies, and keeping equipment in good condition are part of the daily duties. • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous cleaning experience is a plus but not required
• Ability to differentiate between cleaning products and uses
• Ability to read and follow cleaning instructions
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to lift and carry 20 lbs of equipment
• Ability to withstand regular physical contact with dog and cat hair, mold, dust, mildew and cleaning solutions
• Ability to drive to and from various job sites
• Must be dependable, punctual and have a positive attitude
• Must be able to work Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm
• Must be able to move furniture and clean floors on hands and knees
