The role of Set Crew/Custodian is integral to the overall function of the facility. This position involves working various shifts, often including weekends or evenings, to support the continuous operation of the venue. The position encompasses a broad range of duties primarily focused on manual labor related to the setup of event spaces and the routine cleaning and maintenance of buildings. Employees in this role must demonstrate moderate physical strength and stamina, as the job involves lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling equipment and supplies. The Set Crew/Custodian is responsible for the setup of rooms in accordance with the specific needs of each event. This includes arranging furniture, setting up audio and visual equipment, placing dance floors, and preparing staging as directed by the Operations Director or Crew Chief. The position also entails thorough cleaning tasks such as dust mopping, sweeping, wet mopping, scrubbing floors, spot cleaning carpets, and maintaining restrooms.
