This full-time position offers competitive wages ranging from $16.50 to $24.50 per hour, with the actual rate at least meeting the minimum wage requirements for the job location. Additional compensation opportunities include annual and quarterly performance bonuses, as well as premiums based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if eligibility criteria are met. In this role, the Merchandiser/Cashier plays a key part in delivering excellent customer service on the sales floor by greeting customers, assisting with merchandise location, and directing them to specialized parts experts when necessary. The position also involves maintaining an organized and visually appealing sales floor by stocking merchandise according to planograms, keeping displays fronted and full, and ensuring sale signs and promotional materials are properly displayed and removed when promotions end. Responsibilities extend to completing stock processes such as check-in, pricing, adjustments, cycle counts, and overstock returns. The role requires vigilance to deter shoplifting and maintain front-floor security. Additionally, the team member assists with store tasks assigned by management and upholds O'Reilly's brand image through various assigned duties. The cashier responsibilities include efficiently processing customer purchases, handling returns, and managing transactions via cash, check, and credit card payments. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal communication skills, good organizational abilities, and a knack for handling numeric sequences accurately. Experience in cashiering or stocking is a plus, as is the ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle.
