This management position at Residence Inn by Marriott Los Angeles Burbank/Downtown involves supporting the successful execution of all operational aspects within various hotel departments including Front Office, Business Center, Recreation/Health Club, Housekeeping, Food and Beverage/Culinary, and Engineering/Maintenance. As a management team member, you will lead and manage staff while striving to enhance both guest and employee satisfaction. You will ensure departmental standards and procedures are adhered to, and pursue property goals effectively. You will work with employee feedback, guest satisfaction results, and contribute to staff development by ensuring that your team has the capabilities to exceed guest expectations. In addition, this position includes responsibilities like executing the hotel’s second effort and recovery plans, managing guest feedback by timely publishing all satisfaction results, and handling employee concerns with professionalism and courtesy. You will communicate updates and goals clearly to employees and engage in regular one-to-one meetings. This role also entails supporting scheduling and performing hourly job functions as necessary to maintain operational fluidity. A key element of this management role is delivering excellent customer service and being a proactive presence in resolving guest concerns. Ensuring that all team members meet hospitality standards, responding promptly to customer service department requests, and nurturing a professional environment are vital to success. You will assist in managing the hotel’s profitability by participating in annual quality audits with senior management, overseeing key control programs, and understanding financial data and sales reports. You will also be involved in human resource activities such as interviewing, hiring decisions, and ensuring thorough orientation for new hires, fostering a workplace culture that drives both employee and guest satisfaction. This full-time, bonus-eligible management position emphasizes leadership by example, energy, and enthusiasm, aiming to foster a motivated, efficient, and guest-centered team.   • OR Associate degree from accredited university in hotel and restaurant management, hospitality, business administration, or related major
