The position of Maintenance Operations Control Duty Manager at PSA Airlines involves critical responsibilities centered on overseeing the Maintenance Operations Control center. This leadership role requires managing maintenance control activities and personnel directly, ensuring the operational readiness and recovery of aircraft to support daily airline operations. The Duty Manager will collaborate with senior maintenance leadership and other departments to uphold high standards of safety, compliance, and operational efficiency. The role includes directing maintenance planning, managing aircraft out-of-service situations, leading the Aircraft On Ground (AOG) desk, and ensuring that maintenance efforts align with regulatory requirements and company policies. Additionally, the Maintenance Operations Control Duty Manager is responsible for implementing corrective actions following non-compliance or operational incidents, developing strategic initiatives to enhance maintenance performance, and participating in cross-departmental meetings to coordinate solutions for irregular operations. This supervisory position demands strong leadership, technical knowledge, and communication skills, combined with the ability to advocate for safety and compliance within the organization.   • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of five years of technical and management experience within an aircraft maintenance organization
  • Experience with performing aircraft maintenance and repairs in accordance with Part 121, 129, 135 or 145 regulations
  • Current FAA Airframe and Powerplant license
  • Experience with avionics troubleshooting to ensure safety and reliability of aircraft systems
  • Ability to navigate aircraft manuals and company manuals
  • Advocate for safety and compliance embracing PSA Safety Management System
  • Strong communication and verbal skills
  • Ability to build an effective team comprising of peers and subordinates
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software
  • Ability to speak, read, and write in English
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
