The Full Time Engineering staff position at The St. Regis Bal Harbour Resort is a vital role within the hotel, focusing on maintaining an exceptional standard of guest satisfaction by effectively managing repair requests and maintaining the facility's operational integrity. This non-management role emphasizes hands-on involvement in preventative maintenance and operational support across various hotel engineering domains including air conditioning, refrigeration, electrical systems, plumbing, mechanical repairs, and more. Responsibilities involve troubleshooting and repairing diverse equipment, managing maintenance inventory, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The role necessitates not only technical proficiency but also excellent communication skills to liaise with guests and internal teams. Candidates are expected to display versatility in their skill set, with proficiency in multiple engineering categories and a capability to perform mid-level troubleshooting of hotel mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. The position encourages mentorship, with opportunities to support and train junior engineers while possibly undertaking Engineer on Duty responsibilities.                 - High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
 - vocational or technical background
 - at least 2 years hotel engineering or maintenance experience
 - universal chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) certification
 - valid driver’s license
 - must meet state and federal certification and licensing requirements
 - ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and climbing
 - must follow safety policies
 - completion of safety training and certifications
 - no supervisory experience required
