As a baker at The Sisters Restaurant, you will play a vital role in creating the breakfast and dessert offerings that delight our customers. You will fill the pastry case each morning with a variety of baked goods, handle special orders such as cakes or muffins, and maintain consistency across all baked items. A critical aspect of this role is quality assurance, requiring you to inspect all baked goods for taste, texture, and presentation—even those made by another baker—and provide guidance for improvement if necessary.
In addition to baking, you will assist with kitchen preparation tasks, contributing to the overall efficiency and smooth operation of the restaurant. There is room for creativity, as you will have the chance to suggest and develop special and seasonal items that align with the restaurant's values and customer preferences. The baker will also be responsible for monitoring ingredient inventory and communicating needs to ensure uninterrupted production.
