The Parking Lot Attendant / Lot Auditor role based in Baton Rouge, LA, is a critical position within the Commercial Parking Operations department. This role is both full-time and part-time, offering flexible scheduling across morning, second, and evening shifts, with compensation ranging from $13.00 to $18.00 per hour depending on market conditions. As a non-exempt position, this role entails opportunities for overtime pay in compliance with federal and state labor laws. The Parking Lot Attendant is responsible for maintaining a safe, organized, and customer-friendly parking environment. Core duties include directing traffic, assisting guests with payments and inquiries, monitoring the lot to ensure compliance and security, and performing light maintenance tasks to keep the parking spaces and booth clean. Attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work outdoors regardless of weather conditions are essential qualities for success in this role. In addition to facilitating ticketing, payments, and administrative documentation such as tracking revenue and labeling keys, the attendant also plays a key role in security by reporting unsafe activities and enforcing parking policies.
